Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a Senior Data & Integration Architect to lead the data and integration architecture during a major transformation. You will shape data ownership, boundaries, and transition patterns to ensure a controlled, scalable service landscape.

The role requires senior architectural thinking across business, data, and technology and collaboration with engineering, PMs, and leadership. You will define standards, manage risks in data flows, and drive executable designs while

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in solution architecture with strong focus on data architecture, system integration and API design.
• Experience in large-scale transformation programs such as service transitions, carve-outs or M&A environments.
• Solid understanding of data ownership and governance, event-driven and API-based architectures, as well as transitional/hybrid architectures.
• Ability to operate in in-flight programs with evolving scope and constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define the target data and integration architecture for the service landscape.
• Design transition patterns that allow two environments to operate together.
• Establish data ownership models, system boundaries, and integration contracts.
• Support wave and delivery planning with executable architectural designs.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data flows and dependencies.
• Define standards and guardrails for integrations and transitional states.
• Provide clear architectural options and trade-offs for complex decisions.
• Work closely with domain architects, PMs, technical leads, and platform teams.
• Ensure architectural consistency across domains and delivery streams.
