Job summary

Spirax Sarco Limited in Cheltenham is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to embed data governance across a major transformation programme. You will define governance structures, data ownership, and data quality controls to ensure trusted data for decision making.

Collaborate with stakeholders, run governance forums, document data dictionaries, and produce dashboards and reports for senior management. Experience with ERP/CRM projects and Excel/SQL is valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Business Analysis, or Data Management roles.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, operating models, and accountability structures.
• Experience facilitating workshops, governance forums, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Experience translating business requirements into data quality controls and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing operation of the Data Governance Framework throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Establish and coordinate data governance structures, forums, and governance routines.
• Identify Data Owners, Data Stewards and other governance roles with stakeholders.
• Facilitate governance meetings, workshops, and working groups; track actions.
• Define and maintain CDEs, glossaries, data standards and dictionaries.
• Document data ownership, accountability and decision-making frameworks.
• Collaborate to define data quality requirements, controls and monitoring processes.
• Identify, prioritise and resolve data issues with stakeholders.
• Monitor governance risks and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Produce governance dashboards, metrics and status reports for stakeholders.
• Promote governance awareness through training and communications.
• Improve governance processes and support transition to BAU operations.
