LRQA Group Limited 2021 is seeking a Senior Stakeholder Partnering & Thought Leadership role to translate data governance strategy into a sequenced delivery plan and own the governance roadmap. You will coordinate across data engineers, domain leads, system owners and data owners to drive evidence-based changes and secure decisions for implementation.

Qualifications

Experience translating the data governance strategy into a sequenced, resourced delivery plan with clear success metrics and senior leadership reporting.
End-to-end delivery of governance change initiatives, building the business case and obtaining funding and approvals.
Coordinate data engineers, domain leads, system owners and data owners to implement changes and establish clear ownership at handover.
Act as governance partner to senior stakeholders, delivering consultancy-quality papers and influencing across functions.
Develop and share data governance knowledge, providing guidance and briefs to raise literacy and stewardship.

Responsibilities

Run Data Domain Forums: prepare agendas, capture decisions, circulate outputs and track actions.
Prepare papers for the Data Governance Board, supporting data retention, classification and policy implementation.
Support privacy and security obligations with policy-to-system requirements and evidenced compliance.
Build the governance framework and operating model, including roles, escalation routes and standards.
Use SQL and Power BI to interrogate data and validate evidence for governance decisions.
