Job summary

Bell Integration is seeking a Senior Data Governance Lead to join the Internal IT team. You’ll ensure data governance is understood, consistently applied and embedded in day-to-day decision-making, with a hybrid role requiring 1 day per month in London.

You’ll own Purview, guide policies, and partner with engineering using Fabric to embed governance in pipelines, driving data quality and metadata management across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and operating data governance capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Purview including scanning and classification.
• Experience with modern data platforms and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders to drive organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Microsoft Purview environment including cataloguing, scanning, classifications, glossaries and lineage.
• Provide hands-on configuration, troubleshooting and optimisation of Purview features and data sources.
• Work with engineering teams using Microsoft Fabric to embed governance within ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Define, implement and continuously improve data governance frameworks, policies and standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor on data governance, data quality and metadata management.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Governance Lead to join our Internal IT team. You’ll work closely with the Data and Analytics Team, and other senior stakeholders across the business to ensure data governance is understood, consistently applied, and embedded into day‑to‑day decision‑making.

This is a hybrid remote role with 1 day per month in London.
