Remote UK based

An award winning AI driven software company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expert skills in Scala to join their innovative team.

THE COMPANY:

This Senior Data Engineer role sits within the data team which is a market leader in terms of developing ETL and ML solutions. They are now seeking a passionate SME in Scala to work closely with wider teams to deliver solutions to customers.

THE ROLE:

A Senior Data Engineer will need to:

1. Build and maintain services and features
2. Monitor the data collection process via Scala and Java
3. Design and implement databases
4. Designing models and data warehouses
5. Support wider teams in the business

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

A successful Senior Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

1. Ability and experience interacting with key stakeholders
2. Commercial experience in Scala and Java
3. Experience with SQL/Python
