Digital Waffle in South London is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the data platform end to end, from ingestion to KPIs and dashboards. You will partner with the CTO and senior leadership to ensure data is accurate, accessible and trusted as the business scales.

You will build and maintain cloud data pipelines, create reliable reporting, and drive new data capabilities while maintaining platform reliability and deployment discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience owning or leading a data warehouse or data platform.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BigQuery, Snowflake or similar technologies.
• Experience with dbt, Dataform or comparable data transformation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines and ingestion processes.
• Experience creating BI dashboards and delivering meaningful business insights.
• Strong communication skills to work with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, independent approach from concept to production.
• Experience with GCP or Metabase is beneficial but not essential.
