Job summary

Credera is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Delivery Centre in the UK, working with client partnerships to build data & analytics platforms on AWS/Azure. You’ll lead multiple teams, mentor engineers, and drive delivery excellence across microservices, ML and cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with architects, technology consultants and client stakeholders, shaping delivery standards while maintaining a focus on quality, time and cost. Active SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• The ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across delivery teams, leadership and stakeholders.
• Experience of back-end / data engineering across several languages (including Python).
• Experience with batch or micro-batch jobs on AWS ETL or Azure ETL services.
• Experience querying data stored on AWS S3, or through a Lakehouse capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead significant areas of delivery or multiple workstreams with minimal supervision.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and act as the primary escalation point for delivery and operational matters.
• Collaborate with client directors and delivery leads to improve delivery processes.
• Anticipate risks and ensure delivery continuity and stability.
