Job summary

Credera, a fast-growing technology and engineering consultancy in the UK, is hiring a Lead Engineer to drive data engineering delivery across client projects. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, design data platforms on AWS, and mentor engineers to raise the bar in quality and delivery.

Based in the UK with a flexible hybrid model (3 days on-site), you will work with architects and stakeholders to enable AI and analytics workloads, including Generative AI/LLM-focused solutions, data lakes

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines with Spark, Python or SQL.
• Experience with AWS data and AI/ML services like SageMaker.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple, complex data engineering delivery efforts on client engagements.
• Mentor engineers and upskill teams to improve delivery quality and velocity.
• Design and implement data platforms (lakes/lakehouses) on AWS for analytics and AI workloads.
• Partner with architects and stakeholders to drive outcomes and manage risk.
