Job summary

Credera is seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect to shape data and AI capabilities for public sector and regulated clients. You will set architectural direction, advise senior stakeholders and lead delivery teams, while integrating ML, Generative AI and LLMs into scalable, secure solutions.

This permanent role in Credera's Technology Solutions function requires a flexible hybrid model with 3 days onsite at client sites or Credera offices in London, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data, analytics and AI platform architecture, design and delivery.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native data and analytics across the data value chain.
• Ability to lead multiple complex areas of work to time, cost and quality with minimal direction.
• Strong collaboration with senior stakeholders and client delivery leadership.
• Experience integrating ML, Generative AI and foundation models into enterprise solutions.
• Experience implementing data governance and security for public sector environments.
• Familiarity with modern data warehouse / lakehouse ecosystems and MLOps practices.
• Active SC clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Set architectural direction for data and AI capabilities across client engagements.
• Lead delivery teams and coordinate cross-functional work to deliver on time and budget.
• Advise senior stakeholders and integrate ML/Generative AI into scalable, secure solutions.
• Mentor engineers and architects, building capability in junior team members and client counterparts.
• Navigate risk landscapes and assemble SMEs to resolve issues.
