Job summary

Royal London, the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions and investment company, seeks a Senior Data Engineer for its Group Data & AI Office. Hybrid work, 50% from home and 50% in Alderley Park or Glasgow.

You will own and evolve high-quality data pipelines and data products using Databricks, PySpark and Python to support strategic transformation. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, mentor colleagues, and help shape governance, standards and continuous improvement across a mature engineering

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering with Databricks, PySpark and Python.
• Experience building and optimising enterprise-scale data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and auditability in data products.
