Job summary

Street Group in Manchester is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data work, build high-volume pipelines, and run our data platform on a Kubernetes-based stack. You’ll help shape data patterns and standards for a fast-growing PropTech business.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup (up to 4 days WFH) on Road and Kraken, collaborating across data and engineering teams and driving AI-enabled data solutions that unlock value for thousands of UK agencies.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Python and SQL, building ETL at scale.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on platform experience with containers, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with AI tooling and building data products.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own data work end to end—from data existence checks, ingestion and modeling to delivering to teams.
• Build high-volume pipelines and ETL with performance and cost in mind.
• Operate and optimize our Kubernetes-based data platform and deployment tooling.
• Set patterns, tooling and code-review standards for the team.
• Be the go-to person for questions about data sources, lineage and what data can tell stakeholders.
