Job summary

Mace Limited seeks a Data Engineer in London to design and implement scalable data architectures on Fabric and Azure. You will collaborate across teams to translate business data needs into robust data solutions and develop end-to-end systems with a focus on maintainability and governance.

You will build ETL processes, optimize pipelines, and support analytics delivery, while staying current with Azure services and security practices to ensure reliable data flows and insights for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years as a data engineer building analytics solutions on Fabric & Azure.
• Strong SQL, Python, PowerShell proficiency.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing and modelling concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse.
• Knowledge of data governance and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data architecture on Fabric & Azure with the architecture team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into solutions.
• Develop end-to-end data systems with long-term maintenance in mind.
• Develop ETL processes using Fabric notebooks, Pipelines and Azure tools.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support dashboards/reports creation by Data Analysts and stakeholders.
