Job summary

Blis, a global leader in big data analytics and advertising, is seeking experienced Data Engineers in London. You will design and build secure, scalable data pipelines on GCP, handling petabytes of data and millions of requests per second.

As part of a lean, autonomous team, you’ll work in a hybrid model with strong emphasis on code quality, governance, and efficient cloud compute usage. You’ll mentor others and collaborate with Product to move fast while maintaining reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience delivering robust data pipelines.
• Experience with Apache Druid and Imply platforms.
• Built pipelines in GCP with Airflow.
• Python for data and computation.
• Experience with streaming and distributed processing.
• Knowledge of pandas/scikit-learn/numpy.
• Proficient in GCP cloud services.
• Strong Linux knowledge.
• Documentation and testing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, monitor, and support large scale data processing pipelines.
• Mentor and pair with teammates to improve capabilities and capacity.
• Explore new data streams to drive commercial and technical growth.
• Collaborate with Product to deliver fast-paced features and delight customers.
