Senior Data Consultant - Interim - London - Insurance Broking experience required

The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed insurance brokerage that is undergoing significant transformation and M&A activity. They’re looking for an interim Senior Data Consultant to lead the definition and execution of their data & analytics strategy. This is a high-profile role working directly with the C-suite and PE stakeholders to build a scalable data foundation for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and deliver a firm-wide data and analytics strategy aligned to commercial and operational goals.
2. Conduct a current-state assessment of data systems, governance, architecture, and reporting.
3. Shape and roadmap the future data landscape, including warehousing, integration, and BI tooling.
4. Introduce data governance frameworks, quality controls, and reporting standards across the business.
5. Drive consolidation of data assets following recent acquisitions.
6. Identify high-impact analytics use cases to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
7. Support executive decision-making with expert insight on data platform options and organisational design.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

1. Extensive experience in senior data leadership or consultancy roles within insurance broking.
2. A strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics.
3. Experience in PE-backed or transformation-led environments, ideally post-acquisition.
4. The ability to operate strategically with hands-on capability to deliver results in an interim setting.
5. Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with comfort advising senior leadership and private equity sponsors.
