Senior Data Consultant- Interim- London- Insurance Broking experience required

The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed insurance brokerage that is undergoing significant transformation and M&A activity. They’re looking for an interim Senior Data Consultant to lead the definition and execution of their data & analytics strategy. This is a high-profile role working directly with the C-suite and PE stakeholders to build a scalable data foundation for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver a firm-wide data and analytics strategy aligned to commercial and operational goals.
  • Conduct a current-state assessment of data systems, governance, architecture, and reporting.
  • Shape and roadmap the future data landscape, including warehousing, integration, and BI tooling.
  • Introduce data governance frameworks, quality controls, and reporting standards across the business.
  • Drive consolidation of data assets following recent acquisitions.
  • Identify high-impact analytics use cases to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Support executive decision-making with expert insight on data platform options and organisational design.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Extensive experience in senior data leadership or consultancy roles within insurance broking.
  • A strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics.
  • Experience in PE-backed or transformation-led environments, ideally post-acquisition.
  • The ability to operate strategically with hands-on capability to deliver results in an interim setting.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with comfort advising senior leadership and private equity sponsors.
