Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Data Centre Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT infrastructure and cloud projects, ensuring delivery from planning through to closure while managing scope, budget, and timelines. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and cloud teams to align design and delivery, and build capable project teams.

Experience with VMware and hybrid cloud environments, plus Prince2/Agile accreditation, will support stakeholder management and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure and cloud platform projects.
Hands-on experience managing VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) upgrades or similar virtualised environments.
Strong understanding of enterprise data centre technologies and hybrid cloud architecture.
Project management accreditation (Prince2, Agile).
Strong leadership and influencing skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle delivery of infrastructure and cloud platform projects (initiation through to closure).
Deliver end-to-end complex projects or lead a medium size portfolio.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and cloud teams to ensure alignment on design and delivery.
Build and manage project teams.
Control risks, issues, dependencies, and change.
Support solution design and sales cycles.
Maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Ensure projects meet financial and quality targets.
