Job summary

Ada Meher Limited in London is seeking a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their hybrid office. This role focuses on large-scale data centre projects, delivering design-led MEP solutions across RIBA Stages 2-4, in collaboration with electrical and sustainability specialists.

The position offers a supportive L&D culture and a clear progression path. The role operates in a hybrid model (2 days in the office) with a £70k base salary plus a £4,560 annual travel allowance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Mechanical Design Engineering in the Building Services sector.
• Data Centre design experience is essential.
• Experience designing HVAC systems, cooling solutions, ventilation and related plant.
• Background delivering MEP designs across RIBA Stages 2-4.
• CIBSE accreditation or charterships would be a bonus.
• Ability to lead projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and internal stakeholders.
