James Lewis Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Bias MEP Project Manager to run technically demanding data centre projects across City of London, Welwyn Garden City and Harlow. The role offers £85,000-£95,000 plus package and permanent employment.

You will oversee safety, delivery, programme, cost and client reporting from bid to close-out, lead specialist subcontractors, coordinate with mechanical teams and maintain quality across live environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electrical-biased MEP projects in data centres.
• Strong leadership, planning, and client-facing reporting.
• Ability to manage live-site upgrades with safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical-biased MEP projects across live data centres.
• Take projects from bid to handover and close-out.
• Lead specialist subcontractor packages and coordinate with mechanical teams.
• Review scope, drawings, RAMS, and programme requirements.
• Drive health and safety leadership across all activities.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and profitability.
• Produce progress reports and contract reviews.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
