Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the build-out of its data centres in the UK, coordinating design, engineering, and construction teams to deliver projects on time and to specification.

The role focuses on fit-out and partnered projects, with oversight of budgets, schedules, and safety. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery and a transition to operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading large-scale, mission-critical construction projects.
• Experience with data centre developments and fit-out works.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling and coordination.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead data centre project delivery from design through handover.
• Manage scope, schedule, and quality aligned with objectives.
• Coordinate PM teams (MEP, CSA) for integrated packages.
• Oversee budgets and schedules with Commercial Manager.
• Collaborate with Design for reviews and documentation control.
• Liaise with general contractors for resources and performance.
• Drive milestones, identify delays and recovery plans.
• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance.
• Chair status meetings and report progress to leadership.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and design implications.
• Work with Engineering, EH&S, Finance, Ops for delivery.
