Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a major data centre development in Middlesbrough. The role requires extensive engineering background with proven delivery experience across large-scale infrastructure and data centre projects.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure safe, on-time execution within a fast-track construction environment. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position in a contractor-led setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering major infrastructure or data centre projects.
• Recent data centre experience within the last 5 years is essential.
• Experience in engineering, design management or senior site engineering.
• Strong knowledge of enabling works, earthworks, remediation, drainage, piling, temporary works and reinforced concrete substructures.
• Experience working under Design & Build contracts with contractor-led design responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership throughout the delivery of the works.
• Reviewing and interrogating designs, assessing constructability and risks.
• Managing multidisciplinary engineering consultants, designers and subcontractors.
• Coordinating with client, consultants, contractors, utilities providers and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring safe, efficient delivery in a fast-track environment and maintaining programme.
• Supporting enabling works, earthworks, drainage, piling and substructures.
• Managing design packages through construction and change control.
