Senior Data Business Analyst - Capital & RWA Transformation | £800-850/day | Major Bank

We're working with a major investment bank to hire a Senior Business Analyst into their Markets Transformation team. This role is focused on improving how the bank calculates and manages capital across asset classes by simplifying data architecture, analysing current vs target state, and designing solutions that support Credit RWA reporting.

You'll be working closely with stakeholders across the front office, quants, finance, and technology, so strong product knowledge, trade lifecycle expertise, solution design experience, and familiarity with risk, P&L, and regulatory data are key.

Key Details:

• Role: Senior Data Business Analyst

• Rate: £800-850/day (via Umbrella - Inside IR35)

• Location: Canary Wharf, London (3 days/week onsite)

• Contract Length: Until 31/12/2025 (extension likely)

Role Focus:

• Business Analysis and Solution Design

• Focus on RWA remediation and simplifying architecture

• Work with multiple business lines

• Analyse current vs target state and design future solutions

• Liaise with IT, Quants, and Front Office

• Present solutions to stakeholders

Key Requirements:

• Strong product knowledge / experience: OTCs, ETDs

• Experience with front office risk, trading, and P&L analytics builds

• Deep understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle

• Able to simplify trade and data flows

• Experience with gap analysis and solution design

• Able to clearly explain and present architecture decisions

• • Must have strong trade workflow and product understanding

  • Must have done current-to-future state analysis and solutioning

Nice to Have:

• Some SQL knowledge (not essential)
