Senior Data Business Analyst - Capital & RWA Transformation | £800-850/day | Major Bank

We're working with a major investment bank to hire a Senior Business Analyst into their Markets Transformation team. This role focuses on improving how the bank calculates and manages capital across asset classes by simplifying data architecture, analyzing current vs. target state, and designing solutions that support Credit RWA reporting.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across front office, quants, finance, and technology. Strong product knowledge, trade lifecycle expertise, solution design experience, and familiarity with risk, P&L, and regulatory data are essential.

Key Details

• Role: Senior Data Business Analyst
• Rate: £800-850/day (via Umbrella - Inside IR35)
• Location: Canary Wharf, London (3 days/week onsite)
• Contract Length: Until 31/12/2025 (extension likely)

Role Focus

• Business Analysis and Solution Design
• Focus on RWA remediation and architecture simplification
• Collaborate with multiple business lines
• Analyze current vs. target state; design future solutions
• Liaise with IT, Quants, and Front Office
• Present solutions to stakeholders

Key Requirements

• Strong product knowledge/experience: OTCs, ETDs
• Experience with front office risk, trading, and P&L analytics

• Experience with gap analysis and solution design
• Clear communication of architecture decisions

Nice to Have

• Some SQL knowledge (not essential)
