Job summary

Proactive Appointments seeks a Senior Data & BI Developer to join a growing Data & Insight team. You will own end-to-end data solutions from extraction to delivery, enabling senior leaders and operational teams to gain governance and insights.

A modern MS Fabric Power Platform stack will be used to model, automate, and report with a strong emphasis on quality and impact. The role emphasizes ownership, influential input on standards, and collaboration with department heads.

Qualifications

• 8 years' experience in data/BI or Power Platform environment (guide rather than rigid).
• Strong Power BI experience with semantic modelling and DAX.
• Confident SQL skills with views/queries and performance awareness.
• Practical experience with at least one of Power Apps, Power Automate or API integration.
• Ability to work end to end: from problem to solution to support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with heads of departments and senior leaders.
• Curious approach to data and business context; focus on understanding why, not just reports.
• Good judgement on quality vs pragmatic delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end data solutions across the BI stack.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ingest, model and transform data.
• Build semantic models in Power BI and Fabric for senior leadership and operational teams.
• Support and maintain solutions post-delivery and monitor performance.
