Job summary

Proactive Appointments Limited is seeking a Senior Data & BI Developer to join a growing Data & Insight team. The role focuses on Power BI, Fabric, APIs and Python to deliver end-to-end data solutions and drive business insights for senior leaders.

You will work four days onsite in a modern Microsoft-focused stack, influence data standards, and own the data journey from ingestion to reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong Power BI experience with semantic modelling and DAX beyond the basics.
• Confident SQL skills, including writing and optimizing views and queries.
• Practical experience with at least one of Power Apps, Power Automate or API integration.
• Ability to work end to end — from problem to solution and support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with department heads and leaders.
• Curious approach to data and business context; look beyond reports.
• Good judgment on quality vs pragmatic delivery.

Responsibilities

• Join a growing Data & Insight team to own the data journey from ingestion to delivery of insights.
• Work with a modern Microsoft-focused stack (Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps/Automate, APIs, Python).
• Collaborate with senior leaders and customers to translate business problems into data solutions.
