Key job responsibilities
  • Maintain and follow strict confidentiality as customer privacy is our top priority
  • Work with various data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video
  • Deliver high-quality labelled data using provided guidelines to meet KPIs, utilizing in-house tools and software, as part of Amazon's responsible AI development
  • Generate high-quality human insight data across modalities: text, image, video, and audio
  • Make sound judgments and decisions with ambiguous or incomplete information during tasks
  • Pay close attention to detail and adapt quickly to different requirements
  • Support daily operational deliverables for multiple tasks and team collaboration
  • Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality
  • Identify operational issues and suggest process improvements
  • Provide floor support to clarify internal queries during task execution
A day in the life

As an ML Data Associate, you will perform foundational labeling functions, including dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data. Your focus, multi-tasking ability, and attention to detail will help deliver high-quality work while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Amazon policies. Basic Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or related work experience
  • CEFR C1+ or equivalent fluency in Italian
  • Proficient in English (CEFR B2+), both written and spoken
  • Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and correspondence
  • Excellent reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex documents
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions
  • Research skills for gathering and synthesizing information
  • Attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of professional experience with demonstrated task execution
  • Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, changing environments
  • 2-3 years project coordination or management experience
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common business applications
