Key job responsibilities
  • Maintain and follow strict confidentiality to protect customer privacy.
  • Work with various data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video.
  • Deliver high-quality labeled data using provided guidelines and in-house tools, aligning with Amazon's AI development standards.
  • Generate high-quality human insight data across modalities such as text, image, video, and audio.
  • Make sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Pay close attention to detail and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Support daily operational tasks for multiple assignments within the team.
  • Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and suggest improvements for labeling quality.
  • Identify and address operational issues in processes and tools, proposing changes as needed.
  • Provide on-floor support to clarify internal queries during task execution.

We seek a ML Data Associate (MLDA) to perform foundational labeling tasks such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • An Associate’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • CEFR C1+ or equivalent fluency in French
  • Proficient in English (CEFR B2+), both written and spoken
  • Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and correspondence
  • Advanced comprehension of complex business documents
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions across projects
  • Research skills for synthesizing information from multiple sources
  • Attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of professional experience with demonstrated task execution
  • Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, changing environments
  • 2-3 years of project coordination or management experience
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications
