Job summary

PACT Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Architect to shape data architecture, platform and governance foundations for higher education partners across the UK. You will define target-state architectures, guide cloud data platform design, and provide architectural assurance across migration, integration, governance and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

Significant experience as a Data Architect, Enterprise Data Architect, or similar senior role in complex environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and related Azure services.
Strong data modelling, governance, and enterprise data management.
Ability to design secure, scalable cloud data platforms and govern data products across domains.

Responsibilities

Lead assessments of current data landscapes and define target-state architectures and roadmaps.
Design scalable cloud data platforms and lakehouse solutions using Azure services.
Provide governance, security, and quality frameworks for data projects.
Lead discovery sessions with senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into clear roadmaps.
Develop data architecture assets and propositions and coach teams.
