Job summary

Harnham in Leicester is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Manager for a 3-month, 5-days-on-site contract (Inside IR35). You will lead the Data, Analytics, Reporting and Automation functions, drive the Finance Operations data strategy in a Databricks environment, and advance self-service analytics and AI capabilities.

The role requires strong leadership across BI, data engineering, RPA and AI initiatives, with expertise in Databricks, Python and SQL, and a proven track record delivering scalable

Qualifications

• Strong leadership across Data Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, RPA or related technology functions.
• Proven expertise with Databricks in enterprise-scale environments.
• Advanced capabilities in Python development and SQL engineering.
• Strong Power BI governance, semantic models, security and self-service reporting.
• Experience developing and scaling data platforms for large data volumes.
• Experience leading RPA and process automation with third-party partners.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI initiatives in a business environment.
• Strong stakeholder management translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Ability to be strategic yet hands-on when required.

This is a high-impact interim opportunity for a Senior Data Analytics Manager to lead a large-scale data, analytics, AI and automation function within a highly data-driven organisation. You'll play a key role in maintaining operational continuity whilst driving improvements across reporting, automation, self-service analytics and AI capabilities.

The Role and Deliverables

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership experience across Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, RPA, Process Automation or related technology functions.
• Proven expertise working with Databricks in enterprise-scale data environments.
• Advanced capabilities in Python development and SQL engineering.
• Strong Power BI expertise, including governance, semantic models, security and self-service reporting frameworks.
• Experience developing and scaling data platforms that support large volumes of operational and business data.
• Experience leading RPA and process automation initiatives, including management of third-party delivery partners.
• Exposure to AI, GenAI, machine learning or intelligent automation initiatives within a business environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Ability to operate strategically whilst remaining technically credible and hands-on when required.
