Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment in Leicester is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Manager to lead a large analytics function onsite for a 3-month contract (Inside IR35). You will steer Data, Analytics, Reporting and Automation, including AI and GenAI initiatives, across the business.

The role oversees Databricks-based data strategy, data quality, governance, and platform optimisation, with a focus on self-service analytics and scalable BI practices.

SENIOR DATA ANALYTICS MANAGER LEICESTER (5 DAYS ONSITE) 3 MONTH CONTRACT INSIDE IR35 This is a high-impact interim opportunity for a Senior Data Analytics Manager to lead a large-scale data, analytics, AI and automation function within a highly data-driven organisation. You'll play a key role in maintaining operational continuity whilst driving improvements across reporting, automation, self-service analytics and AI capabilities.

The Role and Deliverables

• Lead the Data, Analytics, Reporting and Automation functions, managing both reporting and RPA leadership teams.
• Own and evolve the Finance Operations data strategy within a Databricks environment.
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics, semantic models and Power BI best practices across the business.
• Provide leadership for AI and GenAI initiatives, including intelligent automation and future AI capabilities.
• Oversee reporting governance, data quality, testing standards, security models and platform optimisation.
• Lead a large-scale RPA operation, managing outsourced delivery partners and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership experience across Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, RPA, Process Automation or related technology functions.
• Proven expertise working with Databricks in enterprise-scale data environments.
• Advanced capabilities in Python development and SQL engineering.
• Strong Power BI expertise, including governance, semantic models, security and self-service reporting frameworks.
• Experience developing and scaling data platforms that support large volumes of operational and business data.
• Experience leading RPA and process automation initiatives, including management of third-party delivery partners.
• Exposure to AI, GenAI, machine learning or intelligent automation initiatives within a business environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Ability to operate strategically whilst remaining technically credible and hands-on when required.
