Job summary

Harnham in Leicester is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Manager for a 3-month, 5-days-on-site contract (Inside IR35). You will lead the Data, Analytics, Reporting and Automation functions, drive the Finance Operations data strategy in a Databricks environment, and advance self-service analytics and AI capabilities.

The role requires strong leadership across BI, data engineering, RPA and AI initiatives, with expertise in Databricks, Python and SQL, and a proven track record delivering scalable

Qualifications

• Strong leadership across Data Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, RPA or related technology functions.
• Proven expertise with Databricks in enterprise-scale environments.
• Advanced capabilities in Python development and SQL engineering.
• Strong Power BI governance, semantic models, security and self-service reporting.
• Experience developing and scaling data platforms for large data volumes.
• Experience leading RPA and process automation with third-party partners.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI initiatives in a business environment.
• Strong stakeholder management translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Ability to be strategic yet hands-on when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data, Analytics, Reporting and Automation functions, managing reporting and RPA leadership teams.
• Own and evolve the Finance Operations data strategy within a Databricks environment.
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics, semantic models and Power BI best practices.
• Provide leadership for AI and GenAI initiatives including intelligent automation.
• Oversee reporting governance, data quality, testing standards, security models and platform optimisation.
• Lead a large-scale RPA operation, managing outsourced delivery partners.
