You will design, build and optimise robust data and application solutions, lead database engineering, and collaborate with Product Owners and engineers to modernise our cloud-ready platforms, delivering

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in SQL Server and data engineering.
• Strong data modelling and relational design.
• Proficiency writing complex SQL, stored procedures and views.
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Experience with ETL and data integration.
• Knowledge of data governance and information security.
• Agile working experience.

Responsibilities

• Evolve data, analytics and application solutions across the firm.
• Hands-on design, build and support data and application solutions.
• Lead engineering, optimisation of the database estate.
• Modernise legacy solutions and enable cloud-ready platforms.
• Design and deliver reporting, analytics and data products.
• Integrate data, automation and UX into solutions.
• Act as technical authority for database and analytics engineering.
• Deliver proof of concepts and solve complex challenges.
