Job summary

Digital Waffle is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to drive smarter, more commercially focused decision-making across the business. This hands-on role includes leadership of a small team, building data models, dashboards and automated workflows, and mentoring analysts to turn data into practical business guidance.

You’ll lead cross-functional analytics projects, own reporting quality, and collaborate with the Data Science Manager on the wider analytics roadmap. Hybrid work in Hereford, UK.

Qualifications

• Extensive SQL experience with large datasets.
• Track record building dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Ability to translate data into actionable commercial insight.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data models, dashboards and automated analytics workflows.
• Lead and mentor a small team of Data Analysts.
• Turn large datasets into clear, actionable commercial insights.
• Lead cross-functional analytics projects and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Ensure reporting quality and consistency across the business.
• Manage data requests, prioritise work and delegate tasks.
• Improve BI tools, processes and reporting standards.
