Job summary

Policy Expert, based in London, seeks a Lead Data Analyst to drive analytics strategy and hands-on data work. You will mentor a small team while partnering with business units to deliver high-impact insights using SQL, GCP, and BI tools.

The role offers hybrid or remote working from the London office with a focus on measurable improvements, price elasticity projects, and AI-assisted analytics. This is a senior, leadership-heavy position with coaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data analytics experience with measurable impact.
• Proficiency in SQL and cloud data warehousing (GCP preferred).
• Experience using AI tools (Claude/ChatGPT) in analytics workflows.
• Ability to partner with business teams to understand requirements and deliver insights.
• Experience coaching or mentoring analysts is a plus.
• Bonus for insurance domain exposure or BI tools like Power BI/dbt/Python.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams on high-impact analytics projects.
• Bridge data needs with the data platform and workflows.
• Help set coding, review, and sharing standards across the team.
• Build reusable analytics workflows and introduce new tools.
• Promote effective use of AI tools with accuracy checks.
• Manage and coach two analysts to deliver meaningful work.
