Job summary

Data Idols in London is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to blend hands-on analytics with technical leadership. You will shape analytics and AI solutions across data architectures, semantic models and metric layers, working with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.

You will collaborate with analytics teams, data engineers and business stakeholders to design scalable, secure and governed analytics solutions that align with wider business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Strong experience with Power BI.
• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional modelling, semantic models and analytics data architecture.
• Experience establishing analytics standards, best practices and reusable technical patterns.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction of analytics and AI solutions.
• Partner with analytics teams, data engineers, platform engineers and business stakeholders to design scalable analytics solutions and AI-ready data architectures.
• Establish reusable standards and best practices across analytics to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, governed and aligned with business objectives.
