Selby Jennings, a leading global investment firm, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Data Services team. You will work with financial data and collaborate with traders, researchers, risk and compliance to ensure accurate information supporting decision-making.

This role offers exposure across the investment lifecycle, heavy data governance, and ongoing reporting. You will investigate data issues, onboard new sources, and help drive data quality and efficiency for critical business data.

• Experience in a data-focused role within financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and investigating data issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and quality of financial market and reference data across the organisation.
• Work closely with trading, research, risk, and compliance teams to understand and resolve data-related issues.
• Investigate data discrepancies and help ensure information is accurate, complete, and available when needed.
• Assist with on-boarding new data sources and evaluating external data providers.
• Coordinate and support data-related projects from requirements gathering through to testing and implementation.
• Help improve existing processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and data quality.
