Job summary

FDM Group in the UK is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Data & Analytics team on a 12-month contract. The role is hybrid, based in London, supporting UK and European financial advisory services.

You will translate business needs into scalable data solutions, automate reporting workflows, and mentor junior analysts, delivering executive-level storytelling with SQL, Python, Tableau and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of data analytics experience in investment management, finance or related domain.
• Quantitative degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executive level storytelling & reporting to influence strategic decisions.
• Perform advanced data analysis across financial, sales, and client behavioral datasets.
• Design and implement scalable data solutions and automated reporting workflows.
• Develop models and dashboards that track client engagement, sales performance, and behavioral trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, and transformation of structured and unstructured data.
• Document processes and create user-friendly guides for automated tools and reports.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
