Job summary

Saffery LLP seeks a Senior Data Analyst to support the Data Architect, with responsibilities spanning data governance, quality and integration across the enterprise. The role involves advisory work, data modelling, and BI-ready data pipelines, reporting, and dashboards.

You will work across offices with occasional travel, reporting to the Data Architect, and contribute to continuous improvement in data capture and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Completion of A level studies is essential.
• Degree level education is desirable.
• Two years’ experience in a professional services environment (accountancy or legal) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform suite and SQL.
• Experience with Power BI reports and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requests for data-related improvements and assess business impact.
• Provide high-level advisory on business processes and data management.
• Define mapping and synchronization of shared reference data across systems.
• Develop data transformation and loading processes for data models and architecture.
• Create and maintain data quality dashboards and data dictionaries for CDEs.
• Design data models for BI and reporting tools used enterprise-wide.
• Promote the firm's Data Standards and Data Governance Policy.
• Collaborate on cross-functional programme workstreams.
• Identify new data sources and methods to improve data collection, analysis and reporting.
