Job Description: Senior Data Analyst, Customer Success, London

About the Role:

As a Senior Data Analyst in Customer Success, you will work closely with leadership and teams globally to enhance customer engagement, reduce churn, and increase profitability. You will develop data models, dashboards, and metrics to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to develop analytical tools and dashboards in Looker.
  • Partner with senior Customer Success stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Manage data enrichment processes to provide insights for CS teams.
  • Define, ensure quality, and monitor key metrics like NRR and Churn.
  • Develop customer success performance and productivity metrics.
  • Create customer segmentation and time-based models using dbt.
  • Work with data science teams to refine churn-risk and sentiment models.
  • Build and maintain reporting frameworks for various audiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, CS, or related STEM field.
  • Minimum 5 years in an analytical role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tell compelling data stories.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Looker (or similar tools).
  • Experience in data modeling and metrics design.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with dbt and LookML.
  • Knowledge of customer data platforms like Gainsight or Vitally.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Background in customer analytics within fast-growing SaaS companies.
