Dow Jones Energy is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Commercial Product Management team in London. You will support business performance, revenue management, customer analytics, sales operations, and executive decision-making.

You will work across large datasets to build reporting, dashboards, and analytical models, collaborating with Product, Sales, Finance, and leadership. A strong analytics mindset and experience with Excel, SQL, Python, and BI tools are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' professional experience in data analytics, commercial analytics, financial analysis, market research, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, and data manipulation.
• Experience with Python (Pandas) and cloud/data warehouse platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, SQL Server, Athena).
• Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau.
• Experience with B2B data, industry analysis, or applied software products is highly desirable.
• Domain knowledge in chemicals/energy or related industries.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end reporting for ACV, renewals, new business, and churn diagnostics.
• Build bottoms-up financial models and scenario analyses.
• Design and maintain Power BI/Looker Studio dashboards for product performance and KPIs.
• Develop data quality, governance, and validation processes across core metrics.
• Automate recurring analytics using SQL, Python, and Power Query; explore AI/BigQuery solutions.
• Synthesize adoption and usage data into customer health scores to inform Sales and Account Management.
