Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the UK is seeking a Senior Data & AI Strategy Consultant to shape data-driven visions and guide clients through complex data challenges. You’ll advise on governance, data management and AI strategy, collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive business value.

Based in Glasgow, London or Manchester, you’ll lead workstreams, coach junior colleagues and contribute to thought leadership. The role offers hybrid working and a supportive environment to grow in data and AI

Qualifications

• Strong advisory skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing data management, governance, or MDM solutions.
• Practical experience deploying data governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, Purview).
• Experience leading data management initiatives such as data catalog, data lineage, or data quality improvements.
• Experience defining data stewardship roles within federated or centralized governance models.

Responsibilities

• Advise on data, analytics and AI strategy and governance.
• Translate complex concepts to business stakeholders to secure buy-in.
• Design data management operating models including roles, processes and stewardship frameworks.
• Support discovery and design of data governance and MDM solutions.
• Collaborate with leaders, developers, architects and data scientists to embed governance in AI products.
• Lead workstreams and coach junior colleagues with best practices.
