Job summary

OrderYOYO is seeking a Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer to lead the modern data platform during a scaling phase. You will migrate from legacy tooling to a governed Microsoft Fabric platform, ensuring reliable BI models and robust data pipelines.

You will steer AI-enabled data engineering, analytics delivery, and leadership in data strategy while mentoring staff and delivering repeatable, auditable data solutions across the business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in modern data warehousing or analytics engineering.
• Strong Fabric or Azure Synapse/Databricks expertise.
• Expert SQL/T-SQL and Python or PySpark.
• Power BI with semantic modelling and governance.
• Experience migrating legacy reporting to modern semantic layer.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fabric architecture across lakehouse and semantic models.
• Migrate legacy reporting into a governed Fabric layer.
• Own and improve data pipelines with orchestration and data quality.
• Apply AI to accelerate ETL/ELT development and reporting.
• Design scalable Power BI semantic models for leadership reporting.
• Mentor engineers and analysts and ensure governance.
