PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. is seeking a Data Platform Lead to own the technical evolution of the UK data platform. You will lead data engineering, governance and platform architecture, ensuring scalable, AI-ready data assets across the business.

The role focuses on modernising the data estate, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, and enabling analytics, AI and data products with a high-performing team in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data platform teams within large organisations.
• Strong design, build and evolution of cloud-based data platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and related data ecosystem.
• Experience with SQL, Python and PySpark for data engineering.
• Understanding of data governance, security and quality principles.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for the UK data platform.
• Lead the ongoing development of the Microsoft Fabric platform for analytics and data products.
• Develop a high-performing data engineering team and foster engineering excellence.
• Define modern data architecture, patterns and standards for scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Support AI and ML use cases with well-governed, accessible data assets.
• Collaborate with analytics, BI and business stakeholders to enable trusted data foundations.
