Job summary

FDJ UNITED is modernising its A&I data platform and driving automation. As Senior Data Architect, you’ll design cloud-based lakehouse structures, real-time pipelines, and scalable frameworks to support self-service analytics and AI-first decision making.

You’ll shape end-to-end architectures (lakehouse, data warehouses, hybrid deployments AWS/Azure), embed DevOps, ensure security and compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-performance data solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience architecting data solutions at enterprise scale (lakehouse concepts, big data platforms, real-time pipelines).
• TOGAF Certified and strong governance, security, and compliance knowledge.
• Experience optimising cost, performance, and business outcomes under strict regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Shape End-to-End Data Architectures for data lakes, warehouses, and hybrid deployments (AWS, Azure/Fabric).
• Embed Automation & Monitoring to maximise uptime and ensure security/compliance.
• Implement Scalable Frameworks with Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools.
• Accelerate delivery with standardised processes and automated testing while handling terabytes of data daily.
