Job summary

develop is a growing AI and data consultancy partnering with investment managers, pension schemes and financial institutions to deliver AI-powered products and data solutions. We are expanding our technology function and seeking a Senior Data & AI Engineer to join a collaborative team in London on a hybrid basis.

You will build AI-powered applications, integrate LLMs into production, and work across client projects and proprietary products, with ownership and opportunities to influence direction

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs.
• Experience evaluating model outputs and mitigating hallucinations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients.
• Self-starter mentality with a high degree of ownership.
• Passion for AI and emerging technologies.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Data engineering and large-scale data ingestion.
• Azure or Google Cloud.
• Financial services, ESG or investment industry exposure.
• Data modelling and architecture.
