Expleo UK is seeking a Senior D365 Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex Dynamics 365 and Dataverse-based programmes in the London market. You will define how Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure services and modern web apps work together within enterprise platforms, supporting underwriting and claims workflows.

Overview

Are you an experienced Dynamics 365 Solution Architect who enjoys designing complex, business-critical solutions that deliver real value?

At Expleo UK, we are looking for a Senior D365 Solution Architect to join our growing team and play a leading role in the design and delivery of enterprise-scale digital transformation programmes. This is a high-impact role where Dynamics 365 and Dataverse sit at the heart of the solution, supporting complex customer engagement, relationship management, underwriting and claims-related business processes.

You will be responsible for defining end-to-end solution architecture across Dynamics 365, modern web applications, Azure integration services, data platforms and enterprise systems. Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, technical leads and delivery teams, you will create scalable architecture that supports incremental delivery whilst maintaining a clear long-term vision.

We are looking for someone who combines deep Dynamics 365 expertise with broader solution architecture experience and a strong understanding of complex commercial insurance environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop end-to-end solution architecture for complex Dynamics 365 and Dataverse-based solutions.
• Translate business capabilities, product objectives and user needs into scalable, maintainable solution designs.
• Define how Dynamics 365, Dataverse, modern web applications, Azure services and enterprise platforms work together as a coherent solution ecosystem.
• Design solutions supporting customer engagement, relationship management, case management, underwriting and claims-related business processes.
• Define integration strategies between Dynamics 365 and wider enterprise applications, operational platforms, data platforms and external data providers.
• Establish solution patterns spanning APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging, data synchronisation and cloud-native services.
• Ensure users can access the data, insights, reports and functionality required to make informed business decisions through an intuitive and effective user experience.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand priorities, refine requirements and identify architectural implications.
• Collaborate with technical leads and engineering teams to ensure architectural designs are effectively implemented.
• Define and evolve architectural roadmaps and architectural runways that support incremental product delivery.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience, performance and maintainability requirements.
• Identify and manage architectural risks, dependencies, constraints and technical debt.
• Provide technical leadership and governance throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Communicate complex architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support Agile planning, backlog refinement and delivery activities to ensure architecture remains aligned with business priorities.

Essential skills

• Deep understanding of Dataverse, including data modelling, security, extensibility and integration architecture.
• Strong end-to-end solution architecture experience across enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Azure integration services and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, application integration and data architecture principles.
• Strong understanding of security, identity, access management, resilience and non-functional architecture requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic architectural thinking with pragmatic delivery-focused decision making.
• An understanding of high-value, specialist underwriting and claims processes.

Experience

• Significant experience as a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect or Senior Solution Architect delivering complex enterprise solutions.
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dataverse as the core platform within wider enterprise architectures.
• Experience within London Market, specialty insurance, commercial insurance, financial services or similarly complex regulated industries.
• Experience designing solutions that integrate business applications, operational platforms, data platforms and external service providers.
• Experience working with Azure integration services and modern cloud-based architectures.
• Experience defining architecture that supports incremental delivery and long-term product evolution.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects and engineering teams in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience establishing architecture governance whilst maintaining delivery momentum.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and modern engineering practices would be advantageous.
• Experience working within Agile and product-led delivery environments.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM, Customer Engagement and Case Management capabilities.
• Extensive experience designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.
• Experience designing user-centric solutions that extend Dynamics 365 and Dataverse through modern web experiences, enabling high levels of user adoption, productivity and access to business-critical information.
• Experience designing integrations across operational systems, data platforms, analytics solutions and third-party providers.\
• Experience working with enterprise reporting, analytics and modern data platform architectures.
