Job summary

Side is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Manager to lead evolution, optimisation and automation of financial processes using D365 Finance & Operations. You will align the finance system with business needs and drive improvements with the global IT team.

You will train staff, maintain knowledge bases, and coordinate upgrades, ensuring compliance and robust controls across the general ledger and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a software, technology, finance or business related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and budgeting.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced IT skills with D365, Office and Power BI.
• Experience transforming finance processes and systems.
• Able to manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a roadmap of development for D365 use.
• Ensure all entities are using D365 effectively.
• Evaluate current processes to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with finance and IT to design and implement enhancements.
• Coordinate system upgrades and remove legacy customizations.
• Ensure D365 meets reporting and operational needs.
• Act as liaison between Finance, IT, vendors and other departments.
• Oversee operation of core financial modules and timely validations.
• Lead reviews of financial processes and implement improvements.
• Develop training programs for end-users on new functionality.
• Create and maintain project documentation and workflows.
• Drive automation and align external/internal reporting requirements.
• Maintain master data, access controls and GL integrity.
