Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking an experienced Operations and Engineering Manager for its Cyber Security team. Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, you will lead day-to-day security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management to safeguard systems and data.

The role is senior and hands-on, requiring strong leadership and technical skills. Based in Deeside head office, you will spend a minimum of 2 days per week in the office and work closely with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing cyber security operations within a complex IT environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in incident response and vulnerability management processes.
• Expertise with Microsoft security technologies (Defender, Sentinel, Entra, InTune).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain operational security procedures and documentation.
• Ability to define and report meaningful security metrics to demonstrate risk reduction and operational performance.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence and proactive threat hunting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational security activities to protect Iceland's systems and data.
• Manage security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Drive development and maintenance of security procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to align security with business needs.
• Manage a small security analysts team, combining hands-on work with leadership.
