Royal London is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join the Cyber Engineering and Architecture team. The role is hybrid (50% home/office) based from Alderley Park or Edinburgh, focusing on threat-led security and risk mitigation to support business objectives.

You will conduct security assessments, design controls, advise on regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS), and liaise with technical and business units to translate requirements into secure solutions.

Competenze

• At least five years in cyber security engineering and operations.
• Able to maintain high accuracy and focus in demanding environments.
• Proven ability to influence key stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses across infrastructure, applications and third-party services.
• Design and implement security controls, policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS).
• Act as a liaison between security teams and business units to translate requirements.
• Ensure security solutions are fit-for-purpose and support continuity and efficiency.
• Contribute to business cases and impact assessments for security projects.
• Support incident response efforts and post-incident reviews.
