Job description

Oliver James is mandated by their global consulting client to assist in hiring a Senior Manager within their Cyber Security Operations, specialising in Cyber Security Architecture. The role can be based in London, Manchester, Bristol, or Edinburgh on a hybrid basis, paying up to c£120,000 plus a wider package.

Our client's main purposes include:

• Deciding the best course of action to detect, investigate, and respond to threats
• Developing and establishing processes, governance, and ways of working to enable the delivery of the target operating model and service catalogue
• Supporting research activities to continually maintain an edge in cybersecurity practices
• Working with Engineers & Threat Hunters to analyse data from dashboards to effectively chart strategy and continuous improvement
• Leading migration and implementation strategies and plans

Successful candidates should demonstrate a strong foundation in the following areas:

• Experience in solution design and development
• Experience working with architecture frameworks, ideally TOGAF
• Strong understanding of Security Operations, working within or alongside Security Operations Centres
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Delivery team management: managing teams of 5-15 people across multiple locations, cultures, and experience levels
• Client stakeholder management: strong communication and relationship skills to manage stakeholders from CISO to Developer
