Ethos, a new expert network backed by McKinsey/SoftBank/DeepMind, seeks experienced customer and user researchers to help train AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role covers the full lifecycle from discussion guides to insight synthesis, with a focus on high-quality written deliverables.

The work is fully remote, flexible in schedule (5-20 hours per week, or more), and compensated at $70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsabilités

• Conduct customer and user research end-to-end (from discussion guide to insight synthesis)
• Create, evaluate and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
• Translate findings into usability test decks and journey maps to inform product recommendations
